A Young Brand Needed More Than a Good Product.
Frutty Fro Yo was building a relatively young consumer brand in a category where being good on the shelf wasn't enough. People had to discover it, understand it, remember it and eventually choose it.
The challenge wasn't simply to improve social media, paid advertising, search or the website individually. It was to build a stronger, more connected brand presence across these touchpoints.
Each channel had a different job.
Social content created familiarity. The website gave interested customers somewhere to understand the brand properly. SEO helped people discover Frutty Fro Yo when they were actively searching. Paid media told us which creative actually held attention. And physical brand applications carried that visibility beyond the screen.
Together, these efforts gave us a clearer way to decide what every channel needed to do, instead of expecting all of them to chase the same metric.

Frutty Fro Yo already had the product. What it needed was a stronger consumer-facing identity around it.
The original social feed felt visually scattered, with limited consistency across colors, layouts and campaign content. Before pushing harder on reach, we tightened how the brand showed up online.
The aim wasn't to make every post look identical. It was to create enough consistency that humor, education, product content, recipes and campaign creative could all still feel unmistakably Frutty Fro Yo.
The feed became brighter, more playful and more product-led.
Instead of approaching every post as an individual design, we established a clearer visual direction that could hold different content styles together.
That gave the brand room to be expressive while making repeated exposure more recognizable.

Food brands have plenty to work with visually. They also have an easy trap to fall into: every post can start looking like another product post.
Frutty Fro Yo's content needed range without losing recognition.
We developed a mix of product-led creatives, short-form videos, educational content and relatable, humor-driven posts. Lifestyle content, recipes, product comparisons, interactive formats and campaign creatives added further variety without compromising the brand's visual consistency.
Some pieces were there to make the product immediately desirable. Others gave people another reason to stop, learn, relate or remember the brand.
The objective wasn't to make every post do the same job. It was to make repeated exposure build familiarity.
Food is a visual category, but attractive product imagery alone doesn't guarantee attention.
Frutty Fro Yo needed content that could make its products desirable while giving audiences different reasons to watch, explore and engage.
Our photography and videography work supported that direction, combining product imagery, short-form video and sensory-led creative treatments that could strengthen the brand's digital presence.

Strong product imagery played an important role in how Frutty Fro Yo communicated visually.
The objective was to make the products immediately recognizable and appealing while supporting the bright, playful identity we were building around the brand.
Photography gave us another way to communicate the products' appeal, creating visual content that could support the brand's wider creative direction.
Video gave us more room to explore how people experienced the products.
Alongside conventional product videos and short-form reels, sensory-led formats such as ASMR allowed us to focus on details that static content couldn't communicate in quite the same way.
Texture, movement and sound became creative tools.
Instead of relying on one visual approach, we could develop different treatments around different products, creating more opportunities to capture attention and discover which formats resonated with audiences.

A product video can show people what a brand sells. A good commercial needs to give them a reason to keep watching.
For Frutty Fro Yo, we approached commercial production through storytelling, developing scripted concepts and skits before taking them into filming.
Rather than relying solely on attractive product shots, the idea was to make the creative itself interesting enough to earn attention.

We developed scripts around skit-based concepts, using relatable situations and engaging storytelling to create opportunities for the brand to enter the conversation naturally.
This required thinking beyond the product itself.
The idea needed to capture attention, the scenario needed to hold interest and the product needed to belong within the story rather than feel like an advertisement added at the end.
By developing the concepts and scripts before production, we could build commercials around an actual creative idea instead of relying on visuals alone to carry the message.

Once the concepts were developed, we brought them into production, filming the scripted scenarios to translate the original ideas into finished video content.
This approach allowed us to treat each commercial as a complete piece of storytelling, where the concept, on-screen action and product messaging worked together.
It was a more deliberate approach to branded video: content designed to entertain while keeping Frutty Fro Yo central to the story.
Once the brand had a stronger content base, paid media gave us a different kind of information. Not what we thought people would like. What they actually stopped for.
The first paid awareness phase ran across six ads using a mix of product videos, ASMR content, static creatives and carousels. The campaign needed to generate awareness. But it also needed to answer a more useful question:
What type of Frutty Fro Yo content actually makes people stop, watch and engage?

Instead of looking only at reach, we tracked attention.
Across approximately Rs. 27,000 in media spend, the campaign generated 27.9K ThruPlays and 3.5K post engagements. The strongest-performing creative achieved a 70% hook rate, while the best cost per ThruPlay was just Rs. 0.41.

| Cultured Butter Video | ASMR Greek Yoghurt |
|---|---|
| 10.8K ThruPlays | 6.2K ThruPlays |
| Rs. 0.41 CPR | Rs. 0.74 CPR |
| 62% Hook Rate | 70% Hook Rate |
The Cultured Butter product video generated the strongest viewing volume. It also performed particularly strongly among women aged 25-44.
The ASMR Greek yoghurt reel produced fewer ThruPlays but gave us the campaign's strongest attention signal. Its audience was also more evenly distributed across men and women.
One creative showed us what could generate viewing volume efficiently. Another showed us what could stop people fastest.
The useful part of performance marketing wasn't simply knowing how many views the campaign generated. It was understanding why certain creative worked better than others.
We analyzed the relationship between creative formats, products, hook rates, video retention and engagement, alongside cost per result and audience responses across different age and gender groups.
That started giving the next round of content a clearer direction.
Product-led video performed strongly with women. ASMR produced the campaign's strongest hook rate. Sensory content showed clear potential as a format worth developing further.
Paid media wasn't only distributing the creative. It was helping decide what creative should come next.

Social media can introduce a brand. Advertising can accelerate that introduction. But once someone becomes interested, there needs to be somewhere they can understand the brand properly.
That became the role of Frutty Fro Yo's website.
To bring the brand together online, we designed and developed a bright, product-led website that brought the brand's visual identity, product information and content into one place.
The site was designed to feel playful and fresh, but it also had a practical job to do:
Help people understand what Frutty Fro Yo was, what made the products different and where they could find them.

The website brought together strong product imagery, Greek yoghurt education and messaging around freshness, probiotics and natural ingredients, giving visitors a clearer understanding of what made Frutty Fro Yo different.
We also wrote blog articles and incorporated them into the website, expanding the information available beyond individual product pages. Recipes and Q&A content offered additional ways to explore the products, while a location finder, retail availability information and WhatsApp and social touchpoints helped customers find and connect with the brand.
Smooth UI animations and mobile-first usability kept the experience playful and easy to navigate.
The website became more than a digital brochure. It became the place where curiosity could turn into understanding.
A new website doesn't automatically mean visibility.
When Frutty Fro Yo's site launched, its organic search presence was effectively starting from zero.
The next job was to build discoverability from the ground up. Not just for people already searching the brand name, but for people searching the category.

Searches such as "Greek yoghurt Sri Lanka", "Best Greek yoghurt in Sri Lanka" and "Greek yoghurt price in Sri Lanka" represented opportunities to reach people who were already interested in the product category, even if they had never heard of Frutty Fro Yo.
That meant making the website relevant before the brand was already known.
From Zero to 28,000 Impressions in Five Months.
Over the first five months, Frutty Fro Yo recorded:
That placed the website on page one on average for the searches it was beginning to rank for. And importantly, the growth was organic.
No paid search. No boosted results. No paid placements.

Branded search is useful because it tells us people are beginning to remember the name.
And that started happening.
Searches around "frutty froyo", "fro-yo" and similar variations began generating clicks.
But the bigger opportunity was category search.
"Greek yoghurt price in Sri Lanka" increased strongly. "Best Greek yoghurt in Sri Lanka" began generating visibility. And other category-led searches started appearing from zero.
That meant people didn't necessarily need to know Frutty Fro Yo existed before finding it.
They could search for the product category and discover the brand there.
Search behavior was changing too.
As search engines increasingly incorporated AI-generated answers, Frutty Fro Yo also began appearing inside Google's generative search features.
Within the measurement period, the brand recorded 4.36K impressions in these features.
That matters because discovery is no longer happening only through traditional blue links.
Search engines are increasingly pulling brand and category information directly into generated answers.
And Frutty Fro Yo was already becoming part of that result set.

Frutty Fro Yo's identity was now appearing across social, search, paid media and the website.
But there was another opportunity. The delivery truck was already moving through the city.
So we turned it into another brand touchpoint.
Department
Service
Rather than treating the vehicle as a practical asset with a logo placed on it, we designed the truck exterior to make the product visible from a distance.
The design brought together large product imagery, prominent Frutty Fro Yo branding, bright color and a clear web and contact route.
It carried the same recognizable personality we were building digitally into a physical environment where the brand could be seen by an entirely different audience.
The thinking was simple:
If the truck was going to be on the road anyway, the brand should be working while it moved.

From a Product to a Brand People Could Find.
Frutty Fro Yo started with a young digital presence and a product with room to grow.
Across the engagement, we helped create a more recognizable social identity, a product-led website, stronger organic search visibility and a clearer understanding of which creative earned attention.
The results reflected two important developments: people were discovering the brand through search and responding measurably to creative distributed through paid media.
Beyond the numbers, Frutty Fro Yo had more ways to be discovered, more information available to interested consumers and a more consistent identity connecting its digital and physical presence.
