Making the Platform Make Sense.
What if businesses could get better results from the software they already use, simply by changing how employees interact with it?
That's the idea behind Bisevo, a Swedish software platform combining AI, behavioural science and gamification to improve workplace performance through employee engagement, rewards and learning.
It's a clever concept, but explaining how everything connects is another challenge entirely. From automated rewards and third-party integrations to microlearning and surveys, there was a lot to communicate without losing the viewer halfway through.
Bisevo partnered with Zephra Digital to turn that offering into a motion graphics brand video. We took care of the entire production, from scriptwriting and storyboarding to illustrations, animation, voiceover and sound design.

We didn't jump straight into animating. First, we needed to figure out what Bisevo's software should look like when brought to life.
We presented 4 distinct creative directions: Modern Glass, Dark Gradient, Minimal UI and 2D Vector. Each approached the same product differently, from sleek, interface-heavy visuals to more illustrative storytelling.
Bisevo preferred the third option, Minimal UI, adapted to its brand colours. That gave us the starting point, but not a reason to make the entire video look like a screen recording. We paired the clean interface direction with illustrated workplace settings, characters and animated interactions, giving the video enough personality to hold attention while keeping the software itself easy to understand.

Bisevo had plenty of features worth talking about. The difficult part was deciding what viewers needed to understand first.
Our first storyboard approached the problem from the workplace itself. Businesses already had CRMs, learning systems and dashboards, but getting employees to use them consistently was another story. It was a relevant starting point, although it spent more time establishing the problem before introducing the product.
As the storyboard developed, we changed the opening to something more direct: What if you could significantly increase performance without replacing your existing systems?
We also refined how the product appeared throughout the video. Earlier concepts leaned more heavily on everyday workplace scenarios, while later versions brought Bisevo's actual interface, reward system and integrations further into the explanation.
Across 3 storyboard versions, the narrative became more focused. The final direction moved from the workplace challenge to how Bisevo works, what employees gain and how organizations can use the platform, before finishing with a clear next step.
Once the storyboard and visual direction were agreed, we began turning the scenes into animation.
The illustrations brought workplace situations into the picture, while animated interfaces handled the more technical explanations. A completed action could trigger a coin reward, an employee could redeem those coins in the company shop and existing business software could connect to Bisevo without being replaced.
These weren't just decorative movements. Each interaction had to explain something, particularly when introducing integrations through Microsoft Power Automate, Zapier and secure APIs.
We developed and reviewed illustrations before moving into animation, with client approvals helping lock in the scenes, color palette and visual direction as production progressed.
Voiceover, background music, sound design and transitions then brought everything together. The pacing followed the explanation, giving each feature room to register without letting the video become a drawn-out software tutorial.
One Video. The Whole Idea.
Bisevo needed to explain a platform that connects employee activity, recognition, learning and business performance, without asking viewers to sit through a technical walkthrough of every feature. We delivered a complete motion graphics brand explainer for the Bisevo website, taking viewers from the initial workplace challenge through to the platform's integrations, automatic coin rewards, reward shop, microlearning and employee feedback features. The final video also brings Bisevo's central selling point into focus: businesses don't need to replace their existing systems to encourage better use of them. And the relationship didn't end with that delivery. Bisevo returned to Zephra Digital for a second motion graphics project, this time to introduce a new feature being added to its platform.
Clarity in Every Frame.
The Bisevo project was a good reminder that great motion graphics aren't necessarily about how much you can animate, but how much you can communicate. It pushed us to think beyond individual scenes and consider how every creative decision, from the opening line to the smallest interface interaction, contributes to the bigger picture. Because ultimately, the best animation doesn't just catch someone's attention. It helps them understand something they might otherwise have overlooked. And that's the kind of storytelling we want our work to deliver.
